levitation hour Dimensions: 15 1/2" x 17 1/2" Description: acrylic, collage on canvas board Levitation hour was created following a visit to the South Brooklyn neighborhood I grew up in. Thinking of nearby Coney Island where I spent so much time & the stories heard from relatives of the glory days of carnivals & side shows of the last century, provided inspiration for this piece. It is a tribute to a bygone era, where I imagine pink poodles were respected & magicians were treated as noblemen.
