"In a world that moves and changes so quickly, my work asks the viewer to take a moment to explore, think, and imagine. An early awareness of life's ironies and absurdities have led me from literature, psychological symbolism, and fairy tales to an interest in providing metaphors for alternate realities. By integrating childhood and life experiences, along with my evolution as an artist, I attempt to explore concepts in an organized yet abstract way. A fondness for Surrealism informs much of my work. My intention is to allow the viewer's mind to wonder while the eye wanders."
